Mindset for successBecoming an entrepreneur is something many people do overnight, especially if you’re in the home based business industry. Therefore, it’s imperative that you learn as you go (or as I say, grow!). When I joined my first business, I already had the mentality that if you worked hard for something you will gain success from it. But there were a few things I didn’t know.

I didn’t know that a staggering number of people in the home based industry drop off after their first month. I also didn’t know about things like “Success Coma” – entrepreneurs reach a level of success and stop doing what works. Otherwise, resting on their laurels. Now don’t let me scare you away; there’s a reason I’m not “dropping off”. I’ve learned ways of developing a healthy and positive way of thinking that keeps me inspired to do my best.

It’s All About Mindset

So how do you stay positive (and motivated) when you’re not having a great week. When it seems that every prospect is telling you, “Not interested”, how do you bounce back and keep pushing forward? That’s where National Wealth Center shines!

If you’re already a member and aren’t using the products in the backend, that’s another story. As they say, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. The same is true with helping others to begin a network marketing career. As you know, we have regular conference calls each week that provide marketing tips, mindset training, updates, and LOADS of motivation. I encourage everyone on my team to participate in the calls, and I’ll tell you the same. DON’T MISS THE CALLS!

Believing in Yourself

More than anything, you must believe in yourself. If you don’t, you’re hurting your business and possibly the company’s reputation. This can also hold true to lack of belief in products that you’re selling. You must know without a doubt that your products offer a real solution to your buyer’s problems. Not only is this imperative for building motivation to go out and find prospects and buyers, but it plays a big part in how you come off in conversation.

People can sense when something’s not right. Have you ever called an opportunity seeker without rehearsing what you’ll say? Those types of conversations come off shaky, at best. And your prospects can feel that nervous energy even if it’s on a phone call. That’s why it’s best to sell products that you actually use and that you know hold value.

When You’ve Got It

So… you’ve been watching my team webinars, listening in to our live company calls, and you’re slowly building your entrepreneurial mindset. But how do you know when you’ve reached “entrepreneurial nirvana”? Lol, well it’s an ongoing process that I hope you’ll never quit striving for. The truth is that as we grow and our lives change, we must keep focusing on meeting the goals we have set for ourselves. However, I put together a list of things real entrepreneurs do to give you an idea of where you should be…

  • Focus on just one or two ways to grow their business. The important part is learning and building on these strategies so that you’re dominating the marketplace in that particular area. Blogging and Youtube are two of my things, hence this article.
  • Solve customer problems – In every network marketing opportunity you’ll be solving the prospect’s problems. They want to earn more money, raise kids, add more time back into their day, etc. You have a solution, but it’s the process of helping them understand how to get there.
  • Build a Team – Serious entrepreneurs learn quickly that people want to join a team (or leader), not another buyer. Think of ways you can brand yourself and offer valuable perks for those that join.
  • Work LOTS of Hours – If you want to grow your business fast (and I highly recommend it), you’re going to need to invest time for learning, building relationships, and working with your team. It’s up to you whether or not you put forth the effort, but all serious business owners work day and night if that’s what it takes.

I’ll leave you with this: No matter what background you’re from, or what industry you’re currently in, it’s never too late to develop a mindset that will allow you to prosper.
